All in all, the garden is thriving. Some plants didn't enjoy where they were located: the delphiniums bloomed twice and died. The salvia planted in deeper shade gradually shrivelled up. But the begonias and most of the fuchsias did well. The pittosporum "Silver Sheen" has grown quite tall, and the star jasmine and potato vines are climbing higher. The invasive pepper tree had to go, and there are two new "Silver Sheens" instead. Also new to the garden are several liriope plants.
